This diagram shows the basic layout for one of these pages, and the page components described below.

Note that the right section will be omited from some pages to cater for wide displays in the centre.

The footer section contains the copyright and will always have a contact link so that you can get in touch with us.

The top of the page creates a fixed focal point letting you start again from well known points:

• the | Home |   link will always take you to the welcome page for this site.
• the | BT Ignite |   link will always take you the the BT Ignite Home page.

This part of the display also gives you constant access to:

• | Help |   = help for this site.

Also at the top of the page, a bar will hold Your Name once you have successfully logged in.

The left hand side of the display contains the menus that give you access to other parts of the site.

If you are not a registered user, then only a limited number of menus can appear here. After a registered user has logged in, the menus displayed will increase to include, for example, a My Connection menu, pertinent to them.

The options that appear in these menus will depend on the context of the page on display. For example this page has basic healthnet options in the  HealthNet  menu, as well as help options in a  Help  menu.

The centre of the display holds the main content of the page you have selected. for example this help text is in the centre component of the page.

Text coloured like this will be a clickable link, whatever the background colour.

The right hand side of the display contains site facilities. This component of the page will not be shown if additional space is needed for the centre component.

Most pages will show the HealthNet status icon here. This is shown in a  Status  facility. The status weather icon lets you know at a glance, whether there is a problem on the network. See the status page for more detail.

Another facility that will appear on most pages is a  My Portal  facility. This is for access to personal account options.
