R01 - The Registration Process

 

You complete your details using the on-line registration form. Click on the register button at the bottom of the form to send your application to the HealthNet team.

You will receive an email (at the address you supplied) confirming a registration has been submitted.

The HealthNet team will check your details, and if they match those supplied when you were provisioned with a HealthNet connection, you will be granted access to additional features and information.

You will receive an email confirming a registration has been accepted.

R02 - My Portal options

 

The options provided by the My Portal utility (on the right) will depend upon whether you are registered or not.

Register
Use this option to record your details for the first time. The details you will be required to supply include your SIN, the special account number you were given when your HealthNet service was provided. This information will be used to provide you with information about the HealthNet service which is specific to you.

Login
Use this option to identify yourself if you have previously registered and you want access to the additional features and information granted to registered users. If you are not logged in, a compact version of the login form will be included in the My Portal utility. This allows you to enter your username and password.

Logout
Use this option when you have finished a session of the HealthNet eService Portal. (Your PC will still remember the eService Portal, so you will be recognised next time you visit - but you will still need to login to get access to the additional features and information granted to registered users.)

Logout Completely
Use this option if you want your PC (or other terminal) to forget it has used the service. This is useful if you share access to the PC with others.

Forgotten Password
If you have already registered, but you have forgotten your usename or password, this link provides help.

My Details
If you have already registered, and you are logged in, you can change your personal details (eg if you telephone number is wrong). This option can also be used if you want to change your password.

R03 - Security

 

Once you are logged in, you will notice a padlock shown on your browser (probably on the bottom status bar). This confirms that all data travelling between your terminal and the eService Portal is encrypted while it crosses the network.
